A little family R&R over new years! Some skiing, some sittin by the fire, some soakin in the tub and a long drive home-someone got to watch a movie-drive didnt seem too tough on him. And our buddy Steve who couldnt keep his skis on and broke his leg! YIKES!

Disaster Relief - New Orleans 10-19-10-22-06

JW Relief Congress Hub-New Orleans LA. Post Katrina Recovery Efforts
I had an opportunity this past weekend to go back to do some more on the relief effort for our brothers and sister. Approx. 20 friends from Region 9 RBC here traveled for a week of work. Many of those going were with us in April (scroll down the blog for pix and the story)when we worked for 7 days in Lake Charles LA.
Some Pix of the Hub-this site is completely self contained with 3 hot meals per day, morning worship each day, a shower trailer and complete offices including, logistics, personnel, first aid, construction equip storage, etc.

Moabi Beach- Colorado River- Oct. 1st -06

We had the opportunity to go to the river to wind down the summer with my sister cindy, her husband keith and sone jesse. 3 other families joined us with lots of toys. we had 4 ski boats, two wave runners and lots of fun!
